2021 Explorers Weekend

Due to UIUC COVID-19 restrictions, the 2021 Explorers Weekend in Champaign during June will be restricted to a 1-day event rather than the traditional 4-day format. Additionally, students and chaperones will not be provided overnight lodging as part of the event.

50th Annual Symposium

On behalf of the Illinois Fire Chiefs Association, I am thrilled to extend an invitation for you to attend our 50th Anniversary of the IFCA Symposium being held this coming May 12–14, 2021. JLMC Approved - Basic Assessor Certification Course Scheduled

The Joint Labor Management Committee plans to offer a BASIC ASSESSOR CERTIFICATION COURSE (BACC) commencing on June 7, 2021 and ending on June 9, 2021. The class will be held at the Normal Fire Department located at 606 S. Main Street in Normal, Illinois 61761

Seeking ISFSI Director

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking nominations and applications for the Director of Illinois Fire Service Institute (IFSI). To ensure full consideration, all required application materials must be received by March 8, 2021.
