Deputy Fire Chief Stephen Clarkson Elected IFCA President
The Illinois Fire Chiefs Association (IFCA) is pleased to announce the election of officers to the Association’s Executive Board. Deputy Fire Chief Stephen Clarkson from the Champaign Fire Department has been elected as Board President, replacing outgoing President Mike Falese of the Bartlett FPD. We relay our gratitude to Immediate Past President Mike Falese, who has served his post with excellence for the past year.
Joining President Clarkson is newly elected First Vice President Chief Sean Maloy form the Bedford Park FD and Second Vice President Chief Bryan Doyle from the Fairview Caseyville Twp. FPD.
Other elected officers include two Director’s Chief Mark Puknaitis from the Naperville FD; Chief John Kachanuk form the Havana FD; and Chief Jeffrey Howell of the Lake Forest FD, who will serve as the International Association of Fire Chiefs, Great Lakes Division Representative.
The Association membership is represented with Eleven (11) Area Representatives who serve a one-year elected term in their respective area. Those officers elected are:
