Board of Directors
The Illinois Fire Chiefs Association is led by a dedicated Board of Directors committed to advancing the Association's mission and supporting fire service leaders throughout Illinois. The Board provides strategic direction, oversees organizational priorities, and works to ensure IFCA continues to meet the evolving needs of its members and the communities they serve.
The Executive Board consists of the President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Immediate Past President, and Directors representing the membership, including a representative of the Association's retired members. The Board is supported by the Executive Director, who oversees the day-to-day operations of the Association.
In addition, IFCA is represented throughout the state by Area Representatives who serve as local resources for members and help strengthen communication and engagement within their respective regions.

Board Service
Board members are elected by the membership and serve as volunteer leaders dedicated to advancing the fire service profession and supporting the goals of the Association. Only Fire Chiefs and Exempt Senior Officers who are members in good standing are eligible to hold elected office.
