Text Box: Volunteer and Combination Pre-Conference: The Fall combined conference  held annually in October, in Peoria will feature a pre-conference for the Illinois Fire Chiefs Association portion of the conference.  At the request of the Volunteer Committee the Executive Board and Conference Committee has announced a VCOC pre-conference on Sunday, October 19.   The speakers for this pre-conference are to be announced within the coming months.  Please mark your calendar.  Check back regularly to the IFCA website www.illinoisfirechief.org for conference updates.

Text Box: Conference Grant: The VCOC, IFCA and IFCA Foundation are working together to maximize the opportunity for chiefs of volunteer and combination departments to attend the states premiere fire conference - The IFCA Fall Conference.  The IFCA Foundation offers a Conference/Symposium Grant through which a chief/command officer meeting grant applicant criteria can apply for a grant that will cover conference expenses which include registration and hotel.   The Foundation Grant will get you access to the pre-conference that has been added to the 2008 Conference Schedule.  To be directed to the IFCA Foundation Conference Grant page click here:  IFCA Foundation
